Overheard kids talking at the table. We eat in shifts, the girls and I at normal suppertime, the boys and husband at whatever time it is they get home from the farm.

Bear: was it Uncle N? The one with the beard?
Bug: they all have beards
Bear: uh-uh Dad doesn't
Big D: Yes he does, it's just not as long as Uncle N's. Even Uncle K has a beard!
